It's called Sanrio Puroland, and located in Tama Center, Japan. Like Disneyland, here you can see parades, food with hello kitty's image on them, as well as see Hello Kitty's House!

Hello Kitty Cafe
I thought I saw pretty much everything weird and unique related to Hello Kitty, but when i stumbled upon this on a google search, I was surprised. It turns out that there are restaurants that have a Hello Kitty theme, the Hello Kitty Cafe. Everything is Hello Kitty, especially the food. They serve pizza, pasta, hamburgers, and waffles, all with hello kitty's face on the food. Even the napkins and the ketchup packet has hello kitty's face. There are a few restaurants throughout Asia. The first US one opened in Hawaii in 2000. Its located in Ala Moana Center (which I'm assuming is in Honolulu).

This cartoon show was broadcasted in 2000 on the Fox Family channel. It shows the adventures of Hello Kitty with her twin sister, Mimi.

Sanriotown.com and Typhoon games joined together to create 3D sanrio characters who play soccer in Hello Kitty Football Cup 2002. The 3D characters play with 3D humans. Hello Kitty can be on the team, a referee, or even a cheerleader! This game was released in May 2002. Look at these websites to learn more about the game.

During the Teen Choice Awards 2002, many companies offered free gifts to celebrities. Sanrio was no exception. Here, we see celebrities like Nelly and Carmen Electra with their hello kitty gear.

Its already strange enough that a law school wants to buy a moon bounce for their students, but to raise the money using hello kitty to raise $3 million dollars is kind of weird. Well, this is what the University of Michigan Law School wants to do. Through an agreement with Sanrio, whenever the school gives hello kitty items to students or uses it in official business, the school receives payment in the form of kitty points, which can be redeemed for money.
